Woolaboots were born out of a desire to look great and stay warm in the cold winter months of Northern Michigan.

Even when the scarf is put away, don’t set aside your Woolaboots. Due to the natural Merino Wool, these boots are breathable and stay cool all year long.

Origins

Wool boots have been worn for centuries, in many countries around the world, and in every season. Here at Woolaboots we strive to give you the most pure, and humanely raised merino wool from northern Mongolia. Our boots are made with a sleek seamless design to improve breathability and warmth for all season wear. Each Pair is equipped with Vibram ICE TREK soles, for long lasting wear, and better grip for the winter season. Each boot is hand crafted for the utmost quality, and wearable experience.

Care of Woolaboots

When you come in from the outdoors, simply brush off any snow from your Woolaboots (our little round broom is perfect).

  • Brush off any snow from your Woolaboots when you come in from outdoors.
  • Never dry your Woolaboots near a stove or other heat source as water + felt = shrinkage!
  • Should the need arise, clean your Woolaboots only after they have dried at room temperature.
  • While Old Country ladies cleaned their boots with semolina or potato flour (say what?) you may use a dry brush or fine grain sandpaper to remove dirt once the stain is dry.

A Natural Beauty

Felt is the oldest man-made material, and has been used for thousands of years.

Because Woolaboots are 100% sheep wool, they are naturally resistant to dirt and are virtually waterproof. But if the need arises…
